Technical Sector: Hydromet Sector

Developed for the Government of Sindh (Pakistan), this system integrates river discharge, morphology models, satellite imagery, and vulnerability datasets to forecast and map the impact of different flood scenarios. Hydromet services also support hydro-meteorological hazard assessments, including for wind, cyclone, flood, and drought.

Simulates inflow and reservoir operation strategies using rainfall-runoff models and seasonal forecasts. Supports more efficient water resource allocation and reservoir safety decisions.

Generates 3- and 10-day forecasts of river discharge and water levels based on weather forecasts and real-time observations. Includes bias correction modules and flood risk mapping with actionable advisories.
