Sea level station data have been integrated into national networks via cellular telemetry to transmit data via mobile wireless modem to the nearest telecommunications tower and shared globally through GTS to the GLOSS network. RIMES has also deployed buoy stations that transmit information on meteorological data such as water temperature, wave height, period, direction, etc. via satellite telemetry to the regional data center.
