Strengthening the user interface of early warning systems.

RIMES adopts a unified user-centric approach that combines the overall enhancement of the national institutional framework underpinning DRR/DRM planning, emergency response, and disaster reporting, with robust context-driven last-mile communication and feedback mechanisms. 

RIMES supports national frameworks for climate services and provides feedback to authorities for identifying and addressing gaps in the early warning information and service value chain through capacity building on end-to-end early warning at all levels.

RIMES links vulnerable groups to available institutional resources and services for adaptive response with the goal to strengthen resilience and preparedness. RIMES facilitates customization of DSS and pilot demonstrations at the community level to ensure that early warning information reaches communities and is acted upon to undertake forecast-based actions.
