Project Description:
The project shall compile currently available climate data and climate change projections in Asia and the Pacific, and analyze the gap between currently available information and the needs for project design. Key activities are: desktop review of currently available climate data and climate change projections in Asia and the Pacific region; assessment of gaps between currently available data and projections and the need for project design by major donor and implementation agencies; and identification of recommendations to bridge gaps.

The project aims to establish 4 real-time sea-level stations in Myanmar (1), the Philippines (1), and Vietnam (2) for monitoring earthquakes, for tsunami early warnings.
