The project assessed tsunami risk to the Betano refinery project in Timor-Leste, to guide land development and structural design of the refinery plant and related facilities. Key activities included data collection and preparation, digital elevation model development, tsunami risk assessment and zoning, and generation of tsunami inundation maps.
The project exposed Pakistan policymakers to climate risk management and climate change adaptation policies and practices in Philippines and Thailand to enable participants to integrate learning into the implementation of Intercooperation Pakistan’s project on livelihoods programme Hindukush.
