He also provides coordination support for marine forecasting and climate risk assessment projects.</p>
<p class="text-style-1 rimes_article">Prior to working at RIMES, Anshul worked as a Business Development Executive in Siam Kubota Corporation Co., Ltd., Thailand.</p>
<p class="text-style-1 rimes_article">Anshul holds Doctoral and Master’s degrees in Water Engineering and management from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Engineering from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, India. His specific research areas include analysis of climate change impacts on hydrology, water resources and crop production. His recent work involves downscaling of climate projections, uncertainty analysis in future climate projections, GIS-based analysis, hydrological modeling, crop modeling, etc.</p>

<p class="text-style-1 rimes_article">He holds a Master degree in Engineering with major in Agriculture from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. He acquired his Bachelor’s degree in Technology major in Agriculture from the Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, India.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As Bangladesh Country Program Lead, Raihanul leads the design and delivery of tailor made climate services for RIMES country program in Bangladesh. He coordinates with partners &nbsp;in project development, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning.He contributes in the development and implementation of RIMES Master Plans (5 year strategic plan).</p>
<p>Raihanul has worked as the technical adviser to the Government of Bangladesh for the Flood Forecasting and Warning Center of the Bangladesh Water Development Board and the Bangladesh Meteorological Department. He has provided technical support in generating flash flood forecasts, medium-range flood forecasts, seasonal hydrological outlook and accumulating learning from community response to EWS. He coordinates with in-country partners and provides technical support to project activities at national and field levels. Raihanul is also providing technical and advocacy support to sectoral departments for promoting risk informed and climate resilient planning and development. He is the technical lead for RIMES’s last mile communication and user capacity development projects in the South Asia region.</p>
<p>He has more than 10 years of experience in operational climate services and end-to-end multi-hazard early warning systems. He is one of the founders and advisory panel members of Water Resources Engineers&#8217; Forum, Bangladesh.</p>
<p>Raihanul has a Masters degree in Water Resources Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.</p>
