This project component aimed at improving data availability in support of flood forecasting and warning through establishment of 5 automatic weather stations and 15 automatic water level stations. Key activities included site identification, survey, and selection; equipment acquisition; onsite installations and telemetry; testing and integration into national and regional systems; and onsite training on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
